Siddhi Lakshmi Sthuthi

Siddhi Lakshmi Sthuthi
Translated by P. R. Ramachander

[Sidhi means power but in this context means occult power. Sidhi also means completion. This great stotra addressed to goddess Lakshmi is expected to give you the power to get occult powers. I have taken the text of this stotra from www.stutimandal.com My gratefulness to that great web site. This stotra is different from Sidha Lakshmi stotra.]

1. Aakaara Brahma roopena Omkaram Vishnu mavyayam,
Sidhi Lakshmi, Maha Lakshmi, Lakshya Lakshmi Namosthuthe.

Vishnu who is "Om" with his form of the primeval Brahmam does never perish,
My salutations to Lakshmi of Power, great Lakshmi and Lakshmi of aim.

2. Yaa sri Padmavane Kadambha shikare Raja Gruhe Kunjare,
Swethe cha aswa yuthe, vrushe cha yugale cha yoopa sthithe,
Shanke deva kule Narendra bhavane Ganga thate Gokule,
Ya Sri Thishtathi sarvadha mama gruhe bhooyad sada nischala.

Let That Goddess Lakshmi, who resides in the forest of lotus flowers,
In the tip of Kadamba plants, in the palaces, on the elephants,
In white colour, in those owning horses, in bulls, in the yagas,
In conch, in the clan of devas, in the houses of kings, in the bank of Ganges,
In the Gokula, always stay in my house without moving from there.

3. Ya saa Padmasanastha vipula kati thatee Padma pathrayathakshi,
Gambheera avartha nabhee, sthana baara namitha, shudha vastrothareeyaa,
Lakshmi divyair gajendrai mani gana khachithai snapitha Hemakhumbai,
Nithyam saa Padma hasthaa mama vasathu gruhe sarva mangalya yukthaa.

That divine Lakshmi sitting on a lotus pose with broad thigh and hips,
With eyes similar to the lotus leaf, who is serious, whose navel is deep,
Who is bent due to the size of her breasts, who wears clean cloths and upper cloths,
Who is being bathed by the gem studded divine elephants using a golden pot,
And who has lotus hands, may always live in my house with all auspiciousness.
