Ganesha Saranam [Malayalam]

[This prayer to Ganesa though of Malayalam has all Sanskrit names except for one name. It is also interesting to note that it is written as a prayer to be sung in Group singing Bhajans.]

Ganesha saranam, saranam Ganesha,
Ganesha saranam, saranam Ganesha. 1

Ganesha protect me, protect me Ganesha,
Ganesha protect me, protect me Ganesha.

Parvathi puthra, saranam Ganesha,
Sankara thanya, saranam Ganesha,
Mooshikavahana, saranam Ganesha,
Ganesha saranam, saraanam Ganesha. 2

Protect me Ganesha, who is son of Parvathi,
Protect me Ganesha, who is son of Lord Shiva,
Protect me Ganesha, who rides on a mouse,
Ganesha protect me, protect me Ganesha.

Anadha rakshaka, saranam Ganesha,
Asritha vathsala, saranam Ganesha,
Vigneswarane saranam Ganesha,
Vignamakathuga, saranam Ganesha. 3

Protect me Ganesha, the savior of orphans,
Protect me Ganesha, the darling of his devotees,
Protect me Ganesha, who removes obstacles,
Protect me Ganesha, remove all obstacles.

Arumuga sodhra, saranam Ganesha,
Akhils jagan maya, saranam Ganesha,
Mohini suthane, saranam Ganesha,
Moha vinasaka, saranam Ganesha. 4

Protect me Ganesha, the brother of Subrahmanya,
Protect me Ganesha, who is every where in this world,
Protect me Ganesha, the son of Mohini,
Protect me Ganesha, the destroyer of passion.

Narada sevitha, saranam Ganesha,
Naraka vinasana, saranam Ganesha,
Vedhiya nadha, saranam Ganesha,
Veda porule, saranam Ganesha. 5

Protect me Ganesha, who is served by Narada,
Protect me Ganesha, who destroys hell,
Protect me Ganesha, the Lord of Brahmins,
Protect me Ganesha, the essence of Vedas.

Pavana murthe, saranam Ganesha,
Pahi namasthe, saranam Ganesha,
Girivara nilaya, saranam Ganesha,
Gajanana he, saranam Ganesha. 6

Protect me Ganesha, the lord of the holy,
Protect me Ganesha, I salute you, look after me,
Protect me Ganesha, Who lives in Kailasa,
Protect me Ganesha, who killed Gajamukasura

Kali kaleswara, saranam Ganesha,
Kanmasha nasana, saranam Ganesha,
