Chathur marai moolanukkum, mayanukkum lali

2. Aadi poorathuditha Aandal nama kothai,
Ani arangarudan aadinaal appodhe

3. Paalale Kal alambi, pattale thudaithu,
Mani thengai kaiyil koduthu,
Manjal neer chuzhathi

1. Laali for Lord Subrahmanya, the brother of Ganesa,
Laali for the basis of Four Vedas and to Lord Vishnu.

2. Aandal who was born in the poora star of month Aadi,
Swung in the swing along with Ranganatha.

3. Washing their feet with milk and drying it with silk,
And giving in their hands a coconut,
And swung round them the turmeric water.
