Nirai karum kuzhal choozha,
Cheerai thaila snanam cheyya,
Cheer mighu daasarathe.

2. Melam pathinettum kotta,
Melor geetham isaikka,
Thaladhikaludan chera,
Seela mighu thalai kuniya,
Pappala pala pala vena thailam,
Parimalam pala vidham veesida,
Thagida thagida thathomena,
Thalangal thalai thanil theerthida,

1. Oh Rama who took bath,
With black curly hair round you,
Oh great son of Dasaratha,
Please come to take oil bath

2. With eighteen types of drums playing,
With the devas singing on the sky,
Which merged with different beats,
With Sita with good character bending her head,
With the scented oil shining on your body,
With the beats on the drums playing,
Oh Rama you took your bath.
Victory to you, let all good come to you.
