Thamra lochani latangi,
Ekamaresvara sathi Trahi maam.

Anupallavi

Dhoomra lochana bhanjanim,
Akhila samrajya samrakshanim sada.

Charanam

Dhayaya maya krutha duritham hara,
Dhayamaye, Dharma palini,
Shiva priye, sujana hrudaya,
Nilayananda maya,
Murali rava Madhu priye.

English translation

Pallavi

Oh red eyed one, Oh Goddess tender as a creeper,
Of wife of Ekambareswara, protect me.

Anupallavi

She who killed Asura called Dhoomra lochana,
And she who always protects all the countries.

Charanam

Please destroy the sins committed by me,
Oh Merciful one, Oh Protector of Dharma,
Oh Darling of Shiva who lives in the heart,
Of good people, Oh goddess full of joy,
Who likes the honey of flute music.
