1. Duritha gajakke kanteerava nenesida sharanagatha rakshaka pavana nee.

2. Smarane kaida Prahladhana rakshisidha durula hiraNyakanudarava seeLida

3. TaruNi Draupadi moreyiDalaakShaNa bharadinda akshyavitta mahatmana

4. Andu Ajaamila kandana kareyalu, bandu salahi aanandava torida

5. Shreesha purandara vittala raayana sRuShTigoDeyana mutti bhajisi nee

English Translation

Pallavi

Constantly meditate on Hari to get salvation. This is the decision.

Charanam

1. You are the pure one who protects those who surrender,
You are like a lion to the elephant of sins

2. You saved Prahlada who thought about you,
And ripped open the belly of the villain Hiranya Kasipu.

3. When the lady Draupadi beseeched you,
You the great one immediately gave her endless garment

4. Then when Ajamila called his darling son,
You saved him and gave him divine joy.

5. Touch and worship Purandara vittala, the Lord of Lakshmi and of the Universe.
