English translation

Pallavi

Of elephant faced god, Oh Son of Parvathi,
Oh God worshipped by all the three worlds,
I am asking you for the good of all good people

Anupallavi

He who holds a rope and a goad,
He who is extremely pure,
He who rides on a mouse,
He who is dear to sages

Charanam

I hold your feet, offer Modhaka and worship you as a support,
And so show mercy immediately to Purandara the devotee of Vishnu.
