Isai Thuvakka Padalgal [Tamizh]
[Learners First Songs]
By Smt. D. Pattammal
Translated by P. R. Ramachander

[Here is a remarkable collection of songs for the student who is beginning to learn Carnatic Music. For some reason, all over Tamil Nadu, songs other than Tamil are used for this purpose. But I think it is only proper that they begin with simple songs written in Tamil. The songs in Tamil script is available at: www.dpattammal.com/isai-thuvaka-padalgal.htm]
