Kannan varugindra neram - karai oram,
Tendral kandu kozhathadu parum,
Kattidai mona kuyil osai kkidayana taram,
Anal kuzhal isai kelum - pona
Aaviyellam kooda meelum

Pallavi

This is the time for Lord Krishna to come,
Due to the breeze the riverbanks are looking great,
They said that in the forest there is no sound of Nightingale.
But then please hear the music of the flute and then,
All the soul that went away will return.

Charanam

1. Chala chala mittu odum nathi padum - vanam,
Thangi thangi chuzandru odum - nalla,
Thudhi padidum adiyavar manam aanadhu, edhu pol
THulli thulli kudithodum pugazh cholli cholli isai paadum

1. The river would sing with the sound of Chala, chala,
It would stay in a forest and run in to whirl pools,
And similarly the devotees singing good prayers,
Would tell your fame jumping and jumping and,
Sing the songs about you by saying and saying.

2. Kannan nagai polum mullai inai illai endru,
Kondadum vadu ondrum vallai - idhu
Kanavoalla nanavo yena karada diru maname, oru
Kalamum poy ondrum chollen yengal
Kannan andru veru illen.

2. No jasmine is as pretty as Krishna's smile,
No one has come to argue against this,
Oh mind do not think that is it real or is it a dream
As we will never tell a lie as I am not different from Krishna.,

3. Tazhai madal neendu nokkum, mullai paarkkum - enna,
Sowkkiyamo endru ketkum anda mizhi pesida idhuvo pozhudenavo
Adho varum Madhavan muthu mudiyinil servom,
Ange meta meta ppesi nervom.

3. The pandanus flower saw and the jasmine flower saw,
And asked each others welfare.
