Vana malar polum chinnanchiru pengal,
Vandhu vandhu nagaippadu paarai

Charanam

1. Koi malar neela kuvalai vizhiyale,
Vaiyadhu vaigindray kanna, chinna
Kaiyaluvu vennai thandhal meyyavum,
Podadendru payya payya,
Vadadhu urai Aiya, yeyya yeyya

2. Oychal ozhivilladhu un kaval,
Cheydhaal pirar enna cholluvaro kanna,
Achiyargal inge vandu koochalittu,
POnaargal. pechenna enamel.

English translation

Pallavi

Oh Lord who is as pretty as a peacock, are you not like my eyes,

Anupallavi

See that little girls who are like the flower of the sky,
Come and come and laugh at you.

Charanam

1. with your blue lotus like eyes,
You are berating me without berating, Krishna,
If I give you butter to fill your hands
You say it is not sufficient, slowly,
