Sruthi svara raga alankara Sookshma Sangitha pradha

Giver of Sruthi (Tone interval), Svara (note), Raga (tune), alankara (musical embellishment) and pointed music.

Charanam

Samagana Modam, vara sarasa nibha padam,
Somadharam, Harikesam, Sukhamukham Sevitham varam

I serve him who enjoys singing of Sama Veda,
Who enjoys great impassioned padams,
Who carries the moon, who is Harikesa,
And who has a pleasant face.
