English translation

Pallavi
Oh God of death, I consider you as good as a grass,
Come near my feet, I will step on you.

Charanam
1. I would place the name of Velayudha in my mind,
I would meditate and pray, remembering the wise people who chanted Vedas,
Oh bad fool, did you forget what happened to your crocodile,
When the God protected the elephant which shouted, "Primeval source"

2. He is the one who swallowed the Alahala Poison,
I know well the great problems faced by you when you tried to take the soul,
Go away four thousand miles and away from here, I tell you,
I would come before you as the God Hari Narayana.
