1. Thapangal moondrum thaninthu vidum, nalla,
Shobhana mudan jothi vilangiya

2. Vinn anaithu melongiye kandu nar,
Kannulor kellam kakshi alithidum

3. Allum pagalum amarar thuthidum,
Thillaikku irayon dinamum magizhnthidum

English translation

Pallavi
Seeing of temple tower, is my redemption from sin.

Charanam
1. That which subsides the three types of sufferings,
That along with auspiciousness shines like a flame,

2. That which is visible over the sky and that,
Which is visible to all those with good eyes

3. That which is without break prayed by devas,
And that which makes the God of Chidambaram happy.
