Devaa SAnakadhiyargal magizhum,
Moovayiravargal navaal thudi cheyyum

Thilai maa nagar Shiva perumane,
Yellai illa inbam tharum thene,
Thollai vinai chanchalamum thane,
Illai yendru arul chey Cheemane

English translation

Pallavi
Oh God, Lord of universe, I surrender to the great

Anupallavi
God who made the Sanaka sages happy,
And who was sung by the three thousand of Chidambaram

Charanam
Oh Lord Shiva of the great Chidambaram town,
Oh honey which gives rise to endless pleasure,
Oh Lord tell that troubles, fate and,
Vacillations of mind are not there.
